The 2025 Penicuik Hunter and Lass talent show was held on Saturday 17th May at Penicuik Town Hall at 6pm.
What a night! The annual Hunter and Lass School Talent Show Finals were a heartwarming display of talent, bravery, and pure joy. Our young performers took to the stage with confidence and flair, and the whole community came out in force to support them.
There were singers who wowed us with their voices, dancers who lit up the stage with energy and grace, a cheerleading squad that had the crowd clapping and cheering along and a fabulous solo performance on electric keyboard that was very moving. Each act brought something special, showing not only skill but incredible confidence.
More than anything, it was a celebration of courage. Every child who stepped onto that stage showed what it means to be brave, and they should all be incredibly proud.
A huge thank you to the school staff, families, music, singing, dance, cheerleading coaches that help the students and put on the heats in the schools.
And thank you to those who helped out on the night and give up their time, Gav Stephen (M.C), sound technician, Hunter and Lass Committee and of course our judges, Penicuik Hunter and Lass Elect 2025 and Penicuik Junior Hunter and Lass Elect 2025.
And a big thank you to the community for coming along on the night to support the children and making the night such a success as well as Penicuik Town Hall for hosting the event. Here’s to the stars of the future – and the town that cheers them on!
